  • Do I Need Any Prior Training Experience?

    No, we are a beginner friendly school. No prior training experinece required. Just show up with an open mind and get ready to learn some high level Jiu-Jitsu!

  • Do I Need to Be in Shape Before Starting?

    Absolutley not, by starting your Jiu-Jitsu journey now, you will get in shape over time!

  • What Ages Do You Teach?

    We teach all ages starting from 3 all the way to adults. 

    We offer several different programs to cater to students of different ages. 

  • Do I Need to Book in Advance?

    All new students ages 3 to 14 must book an introductory class before joining our group classes. You can schedule the class through our website, give us a call, or visit us in person to set it up for your child.


    For students ages 15 and up, you are welcome to attend any of our adult classes. You can make an appointment or simply walk in. 


    However, we recommend booking your free trial class in advance to let us know you are coming. You can schedule the trial class through our website, give us a call, or come visit us in person. This applies to both adult classes and women's classes.


  • How is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Different From Other Martial Arts?

    Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that encompasses grappling and ground fighting techniques. 


    Brazilian jiu-jitsu (commonly called BJJ) was created so that anyone, regardless of strength or size, can learn how to defend themselves. BJJ prioritizes moves which utilize technique, timing, and leverage, rather than strength or brute force which makes it a very practical and intellectual style of self defense. 


    Come to any of our classes to witness and participate in this amazing martial art first hand!

  • What is The Cost of Classes/Membership?

    Trial classes for our adults and women's classes are absolutely free!


    Introductory classes for children ages 3 through 14 are $25 for a 50 minute session.


    We offer several different types of memberships at a monthly rate. Discounts are available for families as well as veterans, active military, first responders, nurses, and teachers.

  • Do You Offer a Free Trial Class?

    Yes! We offer free trial classes for students over 15 years who would like to participate in one of the adult or women’s classes.


    Students under 15 will need to book an introductory class before participating in any group classes. I


    If you want to see if your child would enjoy jiu-jitsu before committing to an introductory class, we recommend stopping by to watch one of our classes.
